Rocket your kindergartener to the head of the class by letting them play with math. Is your first or second grader struggling? Give them our apps and help them to really UNDERSTAND how the math works. The traditional "memorize" and test method of early math education does not really work for most kids. Make 10 teaches common core standards in a way that actually makes sense to kids! Make 10 is an exciting and engaging way to bring math to life. Make 10 bridges the gap between a concrete and abstract understanding of math for growing minds. Make 10 gives any child a leg up on succeeding and understanding math in and out of the classroom.

App Features:
-completely independent learning (no parent/teacher interaction required)
-4 fun block shapes
-over 30 quests that help children understand basic math concepts and how equations work
-blocks regroup and ungroup to show how our base 10 system works
-covers most of the Kindergarten common core standards for addition
-allows children to practice and master one specific skill (and by far, the most important kindergarten math skill) instead of jumping from skill to skill as most math apps do
-NO IN APP PURCHASES!
-NO SOCIAL MEDIA!
-DOES NOT LINK TO EXTERNAL SITES!

Make 10 addresses the following Common Core standards in a fun and easy to understand way:

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4.A
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4.B
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4.C
Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.C.7
Compare two numbers between 1 and 10 presented as written numerals.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.4
For any number from 1 to 9, find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record the answer with a drawing or equation.
